Whether you are visiting us or perhaps looking for a new church, we know attending a church for the first time can be a hard step for many. So, we want to help your first Sunday with us go smoothly. Feel free to let the greeting team know you are new and they will help you feel welcome.
Here is what you may want to know.
We currently have a service at 9.00 AM on Sunday mornings. The service is made up of people of all ages. We run Grace Kids (for children aged between 3 – Yr 6 for those who would like to use it) during the sermon time of our service. This runs all year around except for the last week of each month. During the last week of the month, everyone stays in service as one big family.
Currently we meet at Springwood Road State School which has plenty of on-site parking. You can address the carparks directly from Springwood road. We have dedicated spaces at the front of the hall for visitors and those who may have mobility issues.
For those who may use public transport, Springwood Bus station is roughly 7-10 minutes away.
When you arrive, there will be greets at the front door to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. They can show you where the bathrooms are located.
We currently meet in school hall, and so, our members tend to dress in casual clothing which suits the season. In summer we enjoy the cool air generated through a few large industrial fans, and in winter, some people throw on a few extra layers of clothing.
After each service we have Barista made coffee available with tea and other drink options. Once a month we have a shared light meal after church together. We encourage everyone to stick around and engage in conversation with each other.
We run a variety of ministries throughout the week. These include Grace Groups, which meet in various homes, and also Grace Youth which meets weekly at a different location. For more information – please click HERE.
