In 2018, a group of members from Grace Bible Church Holland Park planted a church in Logan City. This church has come to be known as Grace Bible Church Springwood. The Lord has grown us in number and maturity over the years into a large diverse group of believers who desire to love the Lord and love each other well.
We currently have one service on a Sunday Morning and multiple mid-week groups meeting across Logan City. We would love to meet you.

Moving here in 1997 from beachy California, I found living around Brisbane much like home.
Raised in a non-Christian family, becoming a Christian at 18 was radical. My very secular university (U.C. Berkeley) radically challenged my new faith – and thankfully strengthened it, refined in the furnace of the world’s competing ideas.
So ever since graduate studies (Master’s Seminary), I’ve had a passion for reaching non-Christians & practical apologetics in view of our culture.
I’m also passionate about preaching the Old Testament as a pointer to Jesus and equipping younger gospel workers in ministry skills & wisdom.
Influencers on my faith and ministry: John Bunyan, C.S. Lewis, John Piper, James White, Augustine, Keller, MacArthur, Sproul, Carson, Boice, Bridges.
Leanne is my dear wife & ministry companion of 30+ years. Our daughter Kai loves Jesus and filmmaking. We all enjoy using the arts to get people thinking about life, God and values.
Prior to working at the church, I ran a building design company. During that time, I finished my theological training at Queensland Theological College.
I became a Christian in the final years of high school, shortly after which, I married my school-yard crush, Peta. We have three wonderful children together.
My theological influences are vast, but those who deserve a mention are Augustine, Martin Luther, John Calvin, Thomas Watson, C.S Lewis, James Boice, R.C Sproul, James White & Douglas Wilson.
I’m passionate about teaching biblical truths with clarity, highlighting their relevance for everyday life. I desire all people to know the Truth, Goodness, & Beauty of God found in Jesus Christ.
I’m currently studying at Bible College while leading the Grace Youth at church. Prior to this, I worked in the criminal justice system with both youth and adults.
I’m blessed to be apart of a large immediate family who I love spending time with.
Jesus saved me in my teenage years, and I am so grateful to be living for Him.
I have been greatly influenced by the faithful teaching of my parents, pastors, and the ministries of people like Albert Mohler and R.C. Sproul.
I’m passionate about encouraging youth and fellow believers to live for Jesus, and I enjoy practically serving others. In my free time, you will probably find me curled up with a classic novel or getting outdoors with friends!
I serve as an evangelism intern at church while I finish my theological training at Queensland Theological College. Prior to this, I worked fulltime on the ground in an evangelistic ministry.
I grew up in a Christian family and God lead me to surrender to Him in grade 12.
My main theological influences are those who love God and love me and have shown who God is through their lives and words. Other influences include people like, Alistair Begg, Tim Keller, David Platt, R.C Sproul, C.S Lewis, John Calvin, Don Carson and Michael Horton.
I am passionate about seeing Christians know and rely on God as they participate in His mission to call lost sinners home.
